Some smokers often try hard to stop the addiction to cigarettes. But, rarely is successful doing it.

Two pharmaceutical companies, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Nabi Pharmaceuticals are working together to help smokers who want to quit. Both will provide the vaccine named diijeksikan to nicVAX smoker’s body.

nicVAX that enters the smoker, will form a functional antibody molecule of nicotine binds all so preventing nicotine molecules are up to the brain.

As reported by the Telegraph, Thursday (19/11/2009), by preventing nicotine to the brain, the stimulation of people to smoke will be reduced again. The vaccine has been tested on a number of smokers who claim it is difficult to stop smoking.

According to GSK biological division president, Jean Stephenne, if the vaccine is successful then at least able to protect the millions of smokers from the threat of death
